Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Work. Contractor agrees to perform the work described above in a workmanlike manner using materials of good quality, unless otherwise specified.

2. Payment. Client agrees to pay the total contract price according to the schedule above. A 50% deposit is due before work begins; the remaining 50% is due upon satisfactory completion. A late fee of 1.5% per month applies to balances unpaid after 10 days of completion.

3. Change Orders. Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties. Additional costs resulting from change orders are due before altered work begins.

4. Permits & Inspections. Contractor will obtain all required permits unless otherwise noted in the scope of work. Permit fees are the responsibility of the Client and will be invoiced separately.

5. Warranty. Contractor warrants all labor for a period of 90 days from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to materials and products. Warranty is void if work is altered or repaired by others.

6. Client Responsibilities. Client shall provide reasonable access to the work area and remove or protect personal property prior to work commencement. Contractor is not responsible for damage to unsecured items.

7. Pre-Existing Conditions. Contractor is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions discovered during work unless Contractor caused the condition. Contractor will notify Client of any such findings before proceeding.

8. Cancellation. If Client cancels after work has begun, Client is responsible for the cost of all materials purchased and labor performed to date. The deposit is non-refundable once materials are ordered.

9. Dispute Resolution. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Butler County, Missouri.

10. Entire Agreement. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior communications. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

By signing below, both parties agree to the terms and conditions of this Work Order Agreement. An electronic signature is legally binding under the E-SIGN Act.
